Itinerary, tips, prices and times for ferry
From 7am taxis and VIP buses go to your hotel and take you to the pier. We were taken at 8 am in Phuket Town on Ekkamon Manson hotel to Rassada Pier. Those who want to rent a bungalow on Phi Phi Iceland to make there longer leave, which can take the ferry from 400 baht to the island. Book and pricing here http://www.phuketferry.com
Arriving at the pier, we were notified by our driver and our speedboat got tapes. There was the rubber bands in 3 different colours. Each colour represented a group and a speedboat. Our English-speaking guide named Spicy was very nice and explained everything very well. The departure times at the individual sites were also shown us with signs, so there everyone knew. Tip: It is to the advantage when you purchase for your cell phone waterproof cases before, and not just at the pier. Here is a Handyhülle costs 250 baht, five times the normal price. You get good, high-quality cases also here.
Our first island was the Koh Khai Nai is a 20 minute drive away. Here we were 1h 30min. to swim and dive. You could book to dive for 1,800 baht. For those who have no experience with diving, fear must have, because there are qualified divers there and tell you everything. However, in English! On the island we had our own stand and also got drinks such as cola and water. For dining, there was free here at our stand, pineapple and watermelon. You can also rent chairs for 100 Baht whether this is worth it for the short stay, you must know yourself.
At the bars there are also food and cocktails to buy. Then we went in 30 minutes to Maya Bay on Ko Phi Phi Lee. In this one hour stay we walked to Losa Ma Bay (300m) to make the rocks pictures and go to the bathroom. I could see a snake crept under the stairs, along the people on the bridge over. The people on the stairs kept some distance to the snake, the caution was called for! After Viewpoint we went back to Maya Bay Beach, to take pictures before heading back. Now time had to eat, so we went on to Phi Phi Don, where there was a great lunch buffet. For the food and visit, we had an hour stay, with a family of our group moved to the ferry.
Monkey Beach can be reached from there in 3 minutes and was our next stop. Unimaginable to see how the monkeys wait for the meal of tourists and come to the boats. The wild monkeys, however, you should not touch it, because of the risk that this bite. I did not know that monkeys can swim. If not all, of these there already! Because our guide had to come with a life jacket the monkey into the water, because it did not want to return. After about 10 minutes we went to the Viking Cave for snorkelling (30 min.).
The crystal clear water there is super good to videos and images to make underwater. There you can see different and colourful fish. The snorkel gear we got of course rented free of charge. Sightseeing (visit) we were headed to the Pileh Cove and in the Pileh Lagoon. Here you can hold in peace spectacular and breath-taking images to the memory of this place, before it goes nonstop back to the pier (ca.17Uhr). Arriving at the Pier, you can buy a plate with your photo for 100 baht. This picture was taken in the morning before you got into the boat. Finally, your buses, taxis etc. are ready and bring back to the hotel or the airport.
