Holiday Koh Samui, viewpoints and temples. Read more in my Koh Samui vacation travelogue and holiday report.

Koh Samui is the main island off the coast of Surat Thani. Visit here the Big Buddha, the viewpoint over the Chaweng bay for stunning and gorgeous panoramic photos. Amazing coconut plantations in the scenic south you can go and watch the Coconut picking monkeys in his work. Highly recommended is the rock formation Hin Ta and Hin Yai. A visit to the Namuang one waterfall and the idyllic Wat Samret with its over 400 year-old building make the joy of a subsequent massage and steam treatment to a unique day experience.

The island offers a wide range of bars, discos, entertainment, shows and shopping and for night owls.
